Voice loggers play a crucial role in call monitoring, compliance, and quality assurance for businesses and call centers. This guide will walk you through the setup and configuration of a Voice Logger to ensure seamless call recording.

What is a Voice Logger?

A Voice Logger is a device used to record telephonic conversations over PSTN or analog lines. It helps businesses monitor calls for quality control, dispute resolution, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Available Variants

Voice Loggers are available in multiple port variants to suit different business needs:

  • 2 Port Voice Logger – Ideal for small businesses or personal use.
  • 4 Port Voice Logger – Suitable for startups and small teams.
  • 8 Port Voice Logger – Designed for medium-sized organizations.
  • 16 Port Voice Logger – Best for large enterprises and call centers handling high call volumes.

Each variant ensures seamless call recording, making it a valuable tool for businesses of all sizes.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Software Not Installing? Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements (Windows 7, 8, or 10) and retry installation.
  • Device Not Recognized? Check if the USB cable is properly connected and try a different USB port.

No Audio in Recordings? Verify if the telephone lines are correctly connected and ensure the splitters are used as required.

Where Our Voice Loggers Can Be Used

  1. Choosing the Right Variant
    • If you need to record only two lines, the 2 Port Variant is the best option.
    • If you require monitoring for multiple lines, then opt for the 4, 8, or 16 Port Variants depending on your business needs.
  2. Direct MDF/Krone Connectivity
    • If you want to connect the lines from Direct MDF/Krone (where lines are punched), ensure that the system is set up in close proximity to maintain a stable connection.
  3. Connecting Lines from a Modem
    • If the telephone lines are coming directly from the Modem provided by the service provider, use extra splitters to share the connection.
    • One line will be shared with the Voice Logger, and the other line will be connected to the telephone.
